Great food. Fast Service. Friendly staff. HUGE portions. Reasonable price. Can be busy sometimes, but not at all surprising given the aforementioned circumstances.

Simple comfy atmosphere and good american classic food.

AMAZING! Don't pass up your chance to eat here. Seriously you stop once, you WILL be back!. U like rubens? Ya, there's is a real Rubin. U like biscuits and gravy(but you are a real man) get "The Works". On Friday you get whole fish and fries for what 8 bucks,YES PLEASE. They make there own salsa just like mom used to make and you can tell the owners love there work. You can feel there passion when you walk in And you can taste it in your food. 10 additional points to gryphendor.😉

Bring a friend or two! Huge portions, juicy burgers, and lots of fries. Delicious food and friendy staff. You can even call ahead and get food to go if you want to, and its kid friendly. Almost all the locals know about this place but if you are just passing through town and want to sit and eat a great burger, this place is really a hidden gem.

Serendipity! A day trip to Los Banos and we probably picked the best place in town to have lunch. Full of locals and memorabilia. And the food was great...and a lot of it!

WHAT A GEM!!!! My girlfriends and I stopped on the way to Monterey for a quick breakfast. Everything was home-cooked and my chicken fried steak and eggs was like Grandma fixed it. Super nice service too and our bill was incredibly reasonable. This is our go-to place when driving up 152 now.

I've never been here before, but it had really good reviews, so I thought I would try it. I got the meatloaf to go. [ $10 ] They forgot to put in the butter & sour cream for the baked potato. So I had to eat it dry. I don't live here & my hotel was in Santa Nella. [ 20 min away ] Better to ck EVERYTHING to go from any restaurant. To me the meatloaf was just a big chunk of cooked ground beef. Nothing was really added to give it moisture, substance & taste. It did have some fried mushrooms & onion on top. The mixed steamed vegetables did have hollandaise sauce on them which was nice. The man next to me [ a regular] said the pulled pork was really good. Maybe should have gone with that. LOL. 😉

They have real corned beef hash it was delicious. The service was great. My wife had a monstrous ham and eggs thing was big enough for 3 people. Everything was great!

I love their menu. Good food,great service. The cheese burgers are really yummy. Chicken sandwich great. Chicken fried steak out of this world good. The.plates come with plenty of food and then some. Keeps us coming back.

We picked this place because of the high reviews, but I feel like the reviews may have been a little overstated. The good wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything to write home about ... decent diner food. The service was decent, but not very warm or inviting. honestly, I got the impression that this is a local place, where frequent guests are greeted with a sort of "home away from home" ambiance, ... familiar, just enough friendliness, and a tiny bit of dine attitude. I don't regret going there, but not sure that I would take a detour to go back. But if you're looking for some local flair, might be worth a stop.

This place is called "The Works"- omelette with red potatoes, bacon, sausage, bell peppers, gravy, cheddar cheese and biscuits on the bottom. This order is actually split onto two plates! Good price and very delicious.

A friendly Hometown atmosphere with platter sized portions I particularly like the Cobb salad With homemade bleu cheese dressing the best in town all sandwiches are great also I doubt if you leave their hungry

For a hole-in-the-wall place we enjoyed it very much I had the fish and chips not too much better not greasy and I got the small portion which is one fish with the fries and coleslaw fantastic and I could eat a lot the two fish Parts would be too much my wife and mother-in-law enjoyed their meal also the waitress was fantastic.

My family and I really enjoyed this place.
